Description: 

The Information Management system Specialist will work to improve coordination of delivery of humanitarian- and resilience-food crisis related programmes in various contexts across the globe. The consultant will be involved in collecting, analyzing, and sharing information through high quality information products designed to assist field staff make programmatic, evidence-based and strategic decisions regarding aspects of emergency and resilience program related to food crisis and/or food security cluster.

The Information Management system Specialist will support FAO country offices through the provision of support on data collection mechanism, data analysis, mapping and visualization. She/he will proactively gather and analyse data from various sources to identify and communicate important trends within OER’s area of work to the relevant stakeholders within the division.
